If you create content and you want people to find it online, you know the term “traffic generation” all too well. I also have a pretty strong idea that no matter how much traffic you’re getting right at this moment, you’re always looking for ways how you can get more, right?
The problem with traffic generation is, far too many people or those self-proclaimed “gurus” and “experts” claim they have the whole traffic generation concept figured out. The sad truth is they succeed in luring in far too many inexperienced innocent people that really just need to drive targeted traffic to their newly created content but they see flashy objects like “You just need to follow my “secret never revealed before” step by step “magic secret” to drive tons of traffic INSTANTLY” by purchasing this at “ONLY $” for a “LIMITED time ONLY“.
The cycle never ends…
Over and over you’ll keep buying into these “instant success” products until you finally find something that delivers what it promises.
So how do you find the true results-delivering traffic generation strategies, whom do you believe?
That surely is the million dollar question, isn’t it?
Firstly, I can tell you that the moment you see the terms “Instant success“, “magic secret“, “never seen before” you should see bright red warning lights flashing already.
The next thing you should look at is the credibility and personal success of the person offering the solution to the traffic generation concept with the the solution that he/she is offering. Do they actually have legitimate proven and tested physical and social proof that what they’re offering is delivering the results that you’re after and that they deliver on the promises they sweeten in the sales page?
Confession…
I am personally not an expert when it comes to traffic generation and any traffic generation strategies out there. I actually have a long way to go before I can say I am getting decent amounts of traffic to all my content available online.
This site for instance is brand new, a week old in fact, so you can imagine it has a long and exciting road ahead. I am however very excited to share that some of my other content on the internet do get decent amounts of targeted traffic to it, one of them is my other site HighTechNovation.com which leads me to my next point…
